Sorry it has been so long...

I guess I have not been as good about updating this page as I had hoped! Sorry :( I will try to update more often. There has been a lot of good information in the news about Autism lately and I will post some of the links to that information on the side of the page. We have been getting a lot of information and tips from a book called "Parenting Your Asperger Child: Individualized Solutions for Teaching Your Child Practical Skills" by Alan Sohn, Ed. D., and Cathy Grayson M.A. It has provided some very helpful information and nice tips. Today we have our appointment with the Wisconsin Early Autism Project. We will have another evaluation similar to the one we had in Madison. This is the first step to getting involved with any of te services that WEAP has to offer. Well I will post more later!

Welcome to our new page! I decided that this would be the best way to provide information about Autism and more specifically Asperger's Syndrome. We hope to provide detailed information about Tom and how he is doing along with general information to answer the many questions that people have. Please feel free to email me anything of interest that you find and we may post it on here as well. If you have any suggestions about things you would like to learn about or questions that you have email those to me as well. Make sure to check out all of the links that I have added so far. I will try to update this page at least once a week and let you know how our week has gone and if anything is new. While I have good intentions, realistically I doubt that I will be too diligent until after we return from North Carolina though! Hope everyone is doing well! Come back soon for more updates!
